The Knots and Lines Workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15th at the Spinnaker Building at Marina Park in Comox!

Sign up for hands-on training and learn the different types of knots and lines that are commonly used on fishing vessels and the safe handling of lines in general. This mix of in the classroom and at the wharf workshop is great for new fishermen entering the industry although would serve as a perfect refresher for others.

In the afternoon, we will take a field trip to the docks to learn how to safely tie up a vessel. There are lots of hands on demonstrations and opportunities to practice, practice, practice! This workshop is FREE for commercial fishermen!
